2004 - TODAY

2016, March

• Chosen by Taiwan University Hospital to upgrade the PACS system of all affiliated hospitals.

2015, November

• EBM's Mobile Health Personal Cloud was awarded the Medical Quality Prize.

2015, October

• Installed Mobile PACS across six sites for the Chang Gung Hospital Group.

2014, June

• Established branch office and mHealth Laboratory in Taichung.

2013, November

• EBM listed on the Taipei Exchange (TPEx) in the biotechnology and medical care industry; stock code: 8409.

2012, June

• Cooperation with Acer to launch on-premises Medical Cloud Solution.

2011, April

• Signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Mindray Medical International Ltd. to enhance EBM’s product distribution in China.

2011, January

• Set up the Electronic Medical Record Exchange Center (EEC) for the Department of Health in Taiwan.

2010, April

• EBM first listed on emerging stock market; stock code: 8409.

2010, January

• Participated in the IHE-NA Connectathon; passed all Connectathon tests.

2009, September

• Public issuance of shares.
• Set up the Image Exchange Center (IEC), Image Reading Center (IRC) and Electronic Medical Record System (EMR) for the Department of Health in Taiwan.

2009, June

• Participated in the IHE-C Connectathon in Beijing, China and passed all 48 Connectathon tests.

2007, July

• EBM UniWeb granted FDA 510 (k) clearance.

2007, February

• Acquired CE markings, ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 certification.

2006, October

• EBM’s UniSight Mammography Viewer obtained FDA 510 (k) clearance.

2006, July

• EBM UniGate won the Gold Award in the fifth Medical and Technical R&D Golden Award of 2006.

2006, January

• Participated in interoperability testing events in Chicago and Japan organized by IHE (Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise).

2005, December

• EBM UniGate won the 12th Taiwan SMEs Innovation Award of 2015.

2005, October

• EBM UniGate earned the Special Mention Award in the second Taipei Biotech Awards of 2005.

2005, April

• Reflecting its cutting-edge R&D, EBM was the first company to register and market its PACS products in Taiwan.

2004, December

• First Taiwanese PACS manufacturer to be awarded the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Certificate.

2004, November

• EBM Viewer received the Special Mention Award in the first Taipei Biotech Awards of 2004.

1988 - 2003

2001, April

• Having obtained FDA approval, EBM Technologies became the first Taiwanese manufacturer to legally market its products in the US.

1999, September

• EBM helped establish Kaohsiung Municipal Siaogang Hospital as the first filmless hospital in the Chinese-speaking world.

1999, June

• Preparation of teaching materials on the Ultrasound DICOM standard for the Japanese Society of Ultrasonics in Medicine (JSUM).

1996, November

• Commencement of cooperation with Hitachi Aloka, a Japanese ultrasound company.

1993, March

• Start of operations as an original equipment manufacturer (OEM).

1988, January

• EBM Technologies established; capital stock: one million.
